About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To do anything to learn about and promote sustainability concepts around the world

ABOUT ME

I am someone who loves to learn about new cultures and belief systems. I love long meaningful discussions about what it means to live as a human being on this planet. I believe we are here to try to help other people and cooperate/collaborate to make this world a better place for all.

I have created a Facebook page called "Sustainable Man" in which I post daily about Sustainability-related issues. I believe that sustainability is not a question of technology, it is a question of culture. The hyper-consumptive Western lifestyle based on material possessions is not sustainable and, in most cases, doesn't even provide additional happiness.

I am interested in meeting people from all over the world and building a network of people that want to work to change the world to be more humane.

PHILOSOPHY

I live in the moment. I live each day to its fullest. I take nothing for granted. Every day is a gift. And my purpose is to make friendships, learn about what motivates people, and harness that to bring about real meaningful change in the world. My views are constantly changing and there is no view of mine that can't change from rational dialogue.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sadly, although others sometimes look to me for inspiration, I have not done anything really, truly amazing yet. That is part of the reason why I am joining this site. I want to be part of a community that really cares about other people and the planet and about building a long-term prosperous future for all living beings on this planet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share what I have learned about sustainability, both from a technical perspective and a social/cultural perspective.

I have a well-rounded knowledge base from which to engage many types of people and conversations. I especially love learning about what really matters to people.
