I like to rush into a holiday, although it’s sometimes quite unprepared! It makes life exciting. Sometimes I have to buy a toothbrush or a bikini, because I forgot to pack when I rush into a vacation.

I’m fascinated with everything that has to do with psychology and philosophy. I think it’s very interesting how people react on each other and cope with life questions.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was about seventeen years old, some kind of fish stung me in my big toe. It was in the end of October on a fresh evening in Schevingen (The Hague) and I went with my clothes in the sea. And there was this little mean fish that stung me and at first I was thinking like: ‘Oh, ok, so I’ve been bitten by a sea animal or something?!’ But about ten minutes later I began to feel like the worse pain ever and I had to go to the hospital. At the hospital they were very fascinated, because they had heard about this fish called ‘Pietermannetje’ but they had never actually helped someone stung by it. They said that this fish is normally deeper in the sea, but that there is this one week in the end of October that this fish himself burrows in the sand at the coast on the evenings. And who goes in the end of October in the evening into the sea?! I spent the next week on crutches =).
