About Me

Do something challenging, See something beautiful, Learn something new.

I Like to make things happen, and if you hang out with me long enough you'll probably end up doing something you always talk about doing, or always thought would be really cool. I don't like to just let life happen, but sometimes I do like to watch the world go by.

I'm a creative, excited, and interested person. I love learning new things and getting deeply engrossed in them. I like meeting new people but can't say enough about the value of a true friend. I try to represent the things I value.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I frequently join, create, or request events and started hosting after last trip as soon as I got back home. I had such amazing experiences with my hosts and guest, and now that I'm back on travels, I can't wait to meet some more incredible people here in Europe.

I couch-surfed multiple times in the 8 months I was in Australia and New Zealand, and I loved it. In just a few months I met some life-long friends and had some experiences I'll never forget thanks to this community and I can't wait to see what's next. Since then I've hosted everywhere I've had a place, and it's a great experience on the other side of the coin as well.

snowboarding, motorbiking, art, rugby, mountain biking, graphic design, industrial design, hiking, music, cooking, beer, film, marketing/branding, camping, survival camping, surfing, exploring, etc.etc.etc. New things get me excited, excitement breeds passion.

Music, Movies & Books

Movies: Eastern Promises, Snatch, Leon The Professional, Saving Private Ryan, Layer Cake, Crash, Skyfall.

Music: Rock (classic, alt, new, etc.), Metal, Raggae, Ska, Rap, Hop-Hop, Punk, Trance, House, Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Classical (some), Cuban, Spanish, etc, etc, etc.

Books: "And you know what the worst part is? I NEVER LEARNED TO READ." - WAYNE CAMPBELL ...ya not really much of a reader to be honest.

actually I do know how to read, I just don't like reading novels. I read informational books like outliers and lots of science & snowboard mags.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Standing at the peak of whistler with the clouds far below me.

There's no view like it, and I've seen a few.

Sleeping in a riverbed in outback Australia thousands of miles from anything with more stars than you could count in a lifetime.

Spending a half-season in Chamonix off-piste snowboarding with some of my best friends and 30 of the coolest Swedes I've ever met!

Teach, Learn, Share

snowboarding (I'm an instructor)
According to most of my foreign travel partners, I'm pretty good at teaching English
Web or Graphic design

wilderness survival skills
pretty much everything else

I like to cook, so if you host me there's a pretty good chance I'll cook you dinner at some point.

Countries I've Visited

Canada, France, Mexico, Portugal, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I've Lived In
