Hey people, I am Suvo. I live in Kolkata, India and have been on Couchsurfing for close to 9 years now. My flatmate and I have hosted lots of people from across the world when we were living in Mumbai.

A lot of what I do is driven by simple, honest curiosity. I am a tad irreverent, slightly uninstitutionalized, and very open to making mistakes. I'm easy going and I do not take most parts of life very seriously. In the past, I worked as a teacher, product designer, heritage walk leader, policy researcher, and a variety of other roles. I enjoy cooking, making ice creams, going for long walks, exploring lesser-known places and cultural traditions, spending time with my closest friends and family, showing people around my city, exploring new food, and blabbering.

I joined Couchsurfing to meet people from all over the world, make friends, hear their life stories, take in new perspectives, be inspired by them, have honest conversations about life, share meals, and travel together.

My musical preferences are constantly shifting. Brian L. Weiss's Many Lives, Many Masters is my all-time favorite book. One of my favorite things to do includes watching movies at the theater.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am open to organically sharing most things that I can. Let's have a cook-off maybe? I can cook a nice and comforting Indian meal for you, teach you how to converse in Hindi/ Bengali languages, share about my life, share and know more about you, your culture and life experiences :)
