I'm an outgoing, sociable person who loves to travel!

I live in Poitiers, France and teach English at the University of Poitiers. I was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (east coast)!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and get a locals perspective on the city I'm visiting. I think CS is a great way to travel and save a couple of dollars along the way! I am new to CS but am eager to get started.

Music, Movies, and Books

I pretty much love all music (with a few exceptions) and my favourite singer is Lana Del Ray.
My favourite types of movies are comedy or action and I absolutely hate horror films!
I wish I had more time to read, but when I do pick up a good book I can't put it down. I studied French Literature in University.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled to Iceland alone when I was only 16 years old! It was beautiful.

I can teach you how to knit (which is random but useful!) and I would love to practice my French with native speakers!

What I Can Share with Hosts

As an English teacher I would love to help people with their English. I am also a runner and would love to run with others!
