I was born in the U.K. and emigrated to Cape Town in 1980 as a swimwear designer.
I didn't know anyone when I came here and had never visited Cape Town so I came in search of adventure and sunshine. The swimwear industry didn't work out so I became the first female sales representative working for Southern Life in 1981.
(I'm told I was the first!) Now I am still self employed and welcome holiday makers into my home. In my spare time I love live music and dancing. I'm learning Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba and occasionally host parties at my home.

I enjoy hosting holiday makers and it's a good way to advertise my bnb and to make new acquaintances.
