Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I'm poor.
But also to meet local people who can give me a true experience of their home town. I'm not interested in the gringo backpacking culture of staying in party hostels and only hanging out with English speakers. I want to experience what it's like to live in the places I travel to.
