About Me

I have been living in the Paris, France area for over a year and a half now! I would say my level of french is at an upper intermediate level. My goal is to one day be fluent in French! I love to travel and explore. I have already been to many places throughout France and Europe. I am trying to visit as many places as possible while living so close to everything! I love meeting new people and listening to their stories. I love to read and I love movies and television. I feel it is important to travel and really experience new places and new cultures. The more you learn about the world, the more you learn about yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have an ever growing "bucket list" of places that I want to travel to, visit and truly discover. I believe the best way to do this is to experience a place through the eyes of a resident. Couchsurfing provides this opportunity and the opportunity to make some kind of connection with someone I would have otherwise never met.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can tell you that the last concert I went to was Cage the Elephant, the last book I read was By Grand Central Station I Sat Down And Wept, and the last movie I watched was Call Me By Your Name.

My all time favorite movie is Les Intouchables, if you have not seen it and you don't mind reading subtitles, I highly, highly recommend it. It's such a "feel-good" movie that makes me smile every time.

When it comes to music, I genuinely like a little bit of everything. (That's a lame answer, I know. It's true though!) I especially like discovering new music via friends or people I meet.

This year I am attempting to read 50 books! I am half way there! My favorite gift is a book and so far half of the books I have read have been given to me or recommended to me by friends. I prefer discovering books this way because my friends have great taste and they usually recommend books I wouldn't usually pick for myself. So please, recommend as many books as you can think of!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done with my life so far is leave my friends, family and all things that provided comfort behind to move to Paris, France. It has been the most amazing and eye-opening experience. I have learned more about myself than I could have ever dreamed.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some good conversation and I always try to make people around me laugh! I can also give some insight into the New Mexican culture, and I can cook some great New Mexican dishes.

I also would love to give book recommendations to anyone who is interested!
