ABOUT ME

I am a world traveler so live a very nomadic lifestyle. I do not smoke, do drugs, or have a vulgar mouth. I have no children or pets but I do imbibe socially. I am a humanitarian volunteer and travel to Africa every few years to work in orphanages and/or hospitals. I love nature, wilderness, and wildlife and am drawn to being immersed in the outdoors often. I am an avid camper, hiker, snowshoer, backpacker, and biker. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing of their adventures around the world. I enjoy reading and cooking and will have baked goods prepared when you rise in the morning and some dessert awaits you when you return.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed 4 times, 2 of which were not a positive experience. I was stood up/forgotten/ and they flaked out on me with only a days notice.
At this time I only surf but hope to host someday when I am more settled and grounded. I travel too much to be a host.

Interests

I am an avid outdoors women with a deep love and respect for nature and wildlife. I am into being healthy and feeling great by working out and doing Yoga. I have an abundance of energy, live life to its fullest, and am very active and adventuresome!! I enjoy reading, cooking, sunsets, and botany. I am a recycling Nazi [my friends say] and a world traveler and humanitarian volunteer!! I have no children, do not smoke or do any drugs, I do like to imbibe socially except no beer!!!! I love to have fun, be childlike, ask many questions with new people so as to learn all about them and help people feel good by making their day!!!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like suspenseful, comedy, drama, and romantic girly movies. I love to country western dance and line dance. I enjoy listening to country, classical, old rock and mellow rock and going to live symphony and folk/bluegrass concerts.
I read a wide array of topics in the books I choose but prefer real life stories and historical events and true life crimes.
I belong to a book club and that has really expanded my horizons!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to Africa and Asia and always when I am out in nature!!! I have visited 52 countries.
I have eaten horse, camel, alagator and kangaroo during my travels of the world.
I swam with giant sea turtles in the Philippines.
That was so unforgettable!!
