ABOUT ME

I really like to cook and I laugh a lot. I like being outdoors--hiking, or just lay around in parks and on the beach. I like to listen to peoples' stories and I appreciate all different types of humor...(I'm easily entertained haha)
I'm relaxed...maybe too relaxed sometimes? haha. And I'm always up to see new places and eat new things.
I'm a student at the University of California San Diego, and I just got back from studying abroad for a year in Spain. In Spain I volunteered/interned at an elementary school, helping with their bilingual program, since I'm interested in bilingual education and language acquisition. I also interned at an NGO that deals with microcredits, since I'm fascinated by the topic...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just had my first couchsurfing experience in Sept. 2008; so far so good! Meeting other couchsurfers was definitely one of the highlights of my travels in Europe.

I go through phases...off the top of my head, I'm currently in to: my guitar, the Economist, Jack Johnson, Kinky (the band!), and Madagascar 2. But there are some things that will never change haha...I'll always love reading, sushi, sarcasm, theonion.com, Korean bbq, and the Bible.
