ABOUT ME

I'm the kind of person who likes to make silly faces and be really goofy but also get into deep, stimulating conversations. I haven't seen much of the world, or even my own country, but that will change soon. :) A perfect day for me would be spending the day in nature, laughing with friends, making music, hiking, swimming, exploring and then spend the evening around a fire, disconnected from the internet... just telling stories and looking at the stars.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that many people spend most of their lives in the past or future, constantly shrouded in thoughts and worries. If life is to be lived to its highest potential we are to open our eyes and hearts to the present moment and embrace all that surrounds us.

I also think people should just be who they are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Seeing the milky way galaxy with my naked eye
2. Watching a woman give birth and then seeing her and her baby bond in those first moments after birth -- truly embodying love.
3. Seeing the human heart beating in a patient's open chest cavity during a surgical procedure to remove a 7 lb tumor. AMAZING!

Nursing skills, first-aid and CPR.

Also, my partner Jesse and I do a bit of ukulele acoustic jamming out (he plays and I sing) and love to share our music with others! :)
