ABOUT ME

I love animals and am studying to be a zoologist, a career that will hopefully take me around the world, maybe even to Antarctica. I find pleasure and inspiration in everything and everyone around me. I am artistic: I paint and draw and spend a lot of my spare time checking out galleries and museums. Travelling is my main thrill in life, everything else revolves around it.

PHILOSOPHY

Shakespeare worded this a lot more succinctly than I ever could: 'To thine own self be true'. Not original I know, but its a healthy philosophy to hold to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed in France with a couple of different people. I had fantastic experiences and met many amazing people through it. I especially loved it when one of my hosts took the time to introduce me to almost every French cheese in existence! I've also hosted a couple of people.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love books, good fiction, literature, fantasy and a bit of history and science non-fiction. I'm into alternative and world music and love a good foreign film festival (also have a soft spot for the odd sci-fi or fantasy film or TV show like Buffy!)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I went to a classical flamenco performance inside the Alhambra in Spain - an incredibly beautiful setting, a powerful and inspiring performance and a chance to mingle with the locals. It was a fantastic night!
