Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I like to have the option to stay with locals for the chats and exchange of cultural experiments and views. I've been an Airbnb host and a traveler and a long the way met some cool people. I can't imagine what adventure are waiting for me on this platform 😄

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summer 2016: I was the first woman to compete in the long distance cycling race called wow cyclothon and it's about 1358km. Around Iceland in 84 hours. I cycled 507km in 48 hours before I started bleeding from soreness. It was an experimet.

I've hiked in bad weather. The wind was going about 40 meters per second, it was raining, sideways, it was snowing, I was walking in a very muddy path with a heavy backpack. Sometimes it was difficult to breathe but that was one of my happiest moments.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my view of the world. I will bring something Icelandic. And of course I can give useful information if the host wants to visit Iceland some day. I'm just a good friend wandering around the world 😊.
