About Me

My name is Svea and I come from Hamburg, the lovely north of Germany. I enjoy dancing, playing the guitar and just wandering around. I like laughing and staying positive.
I am really into music and I always ask people I just met what the current band is they listen to the most and why. This way I got to know fantastic music!
I lived in Argentina for a year and for six month in France. Now I am about to finish my Bachelor.
Afterwards I would like to live again for a longer time in another country. Already excited where I will end up living, I am looking forward to it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Exchanging knowledge and learning from other people is very important to me. I think it provides opportunities to grow together and gather new perspectives on culture, people and my own life.
I am into seeing other places and meeting new people. In my opinion Couchsurfing is unique in a way that people with a similar mind-set have a platform to find and meet each other here. When I am going to another place being received by a nice person is one of the most amazing things!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite Music is mainly Indie, Electronic-Soul and some Folk. I love listening to J.Bernhardt, Honne, Marian Hill and Mumford and Sons. My heart is also beating for some Latin Music. As I lived for a year in Buenos Aires I got to know Onda Vaga and Natalia Doco. Now a days I couldn't imagine my Playlists without them.

Regarding the Books I would say that my favorite ones are still Sophies World and the Book Thief.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Buenos Aires for a year working in a local project. We had a bakery, cinema, music and painting workshops. Kids, young people and whole families came from the whole town. I learned a lot from all of them and would not miss this experience for nothing in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am really good at making Crêpes and I work as a Hip-Hop Dance Teacher. So I can share a wonderful breakfast or teach you dancing. You choose.

Countries I’ve Lived In
