ABOUT ME

I love to travel and to meet new people and learn about them and their cultures and lifes. That's why I enjoyed being an exchange student in the USA and my backpacking time in Australia and South America. My goal is to travel way more, even if time is limited because of work. But there is always a little room for vacation :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy meeting people and like to show my city Dresden to them. I love to share funny and interesting stories about travelexperiences. Oh yes and whoever is interested, I could perhaps teach some German ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First I met couchsurfers at a friends house and heard about a lot of positive things about cs. During my stay in the USA I surfed a couch for the first time and it was a great experience, I´m still friends with the girl who hosted me - thanks again Jen :). While traveling through Australia I met wonderful people with the help of cs. I had amazing hosts and all the activities organised by cs-members were fantastic, no matter if it was a moonlight-beachparty, monthly meeting or hiking. The great experiences continued in South America - my wonderful hosts integrated me into their families or took me to legendary parties.

兴趣

I am interested in traveling (who would have thought that :D), music and people. After my first jump i fell in love with skydiving and definitely want to do that again.
Having a yummy dinner with people to chat with and enjoying a drink in a bar is a great way to spend a night for me. Why not continue with dancing? I loooove Salsa for example :) During the day it`s fantastic to discover interesting spots, which are not crowded by tourists.

So hard to pick some. For example I like the movies Forrest Gump and the Bucket List.
Music is even harder, it really depends on my mood. I like Alanis Morissette, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, Alin Coen and Stilbruch (a band from Dresden).
My favourite book is The litte Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I had so many fantastic moments in my life. These memories are often connected to people and / or places. For example meeting many great people from all over the world during several CS-meetings in different cities. Standing at some cliffs while looking at the ocean and listening to music in the north of Spain.
Sitting in a little pedal boat on the Moldau in Prague with 2 friends while the sun was shining. Watching the sunset at Uluru or inhaling the wonderful smell of the eucalyptus trees in Tasmania while looking at a waterfall. Feeling like the only person in the world at the northernmost point of Colombia. And of course, the breathtaking moment of jumping out of a plane during a skydive.

Well, I can tell you about my travel experiences, even though there are so many places I still want to see. I could teach you some German or give you some examples about the dialect of the people in Saxony :)
