I'm Svenja, 26 years old. Actually I'm from Berlin, Germany, but for the last years I I have been commuting between Mexico-City and Leipzig and feel at home in both countries. I love spending time in nature, doing sports, cooking together with friends, having deep conversations and learn about cultures and languages.

I think that Couchsurfing is a wonderful way to get in contact with new people from all over the world. I really love travelling but I'm not really a fan of hotels and stuff like that because on the one hand it often turns out to be quite expensive and additionally you only get to know the typical tourism sights. However, if there is the possibility of talking to locals you'll be able to discover amazingly more than by yourself or with the help of only a book.
Surely, you cannot only find places pretty much cooler than on your own but also share your experiences and parts of your own culture with others and by doing so you may make new friends!
