HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now we can't couch ourselves but we're sure that the day our flat is ready to host we surely would be an active participant!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately we can't say we couch a lot but really hope it's not for long. Although we have friends in other Russian cities, also in Egypt, Australia (Glenn was my friend guest but lived in my place some time), Italy (me and my mom lived there with her friend and her family), USA and really use any opportunity to get along with new people. We had some experience last year and it was great!

Musica, film e libri

Movies: horrors (like "Mirrors", "The ring", "Recycle")
everydaylife (they're really interesting movies filmed mainly in Asia about school life. The best are "Summer's tale", "Our english teacher")
detectives (like "Sleuth" with Michael Kane, "Gosford Park").
And surely many others kinds. Going to cinema is one of our favorite way to spend free time.

Music: We're real lounge, ambient, progressive trance and deep house music fans. In our mp3 there are always music from Cafe del mar albums, Above and Beyond, Dash Berlin, Super8&Tab, Paul Van Dyk, The Timewriter, Moby. Lately also started to listen to Paul Kalkbrenner. Nightwish music helps Sveta to get back in right mood when she is frustrated or angry.

Books: I really like detectives both classic by Agatha Christie, James Hadley Chase, John Dickson Carr, and modern authors especially russian writer Aleksandra Marinina. I also like Kodsi Suduzi, author of "The ring", Haruki Murakami and "The dark tower" series by Stephen King. And we also have a tradition to buy one used book in every city of foreign country we visit.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

1)Sveta - from 2001 to 2007 every summer I spend 3-4 weeks away from civilization. With 30 other people from our town we lived 3-4 weeks near the sea in tents. Nearest village with population 300 people was in 8 kilometres. Such a great experince can't be forgotten! Hope to repeat it again!
2) Ilya - When a teen I have once saved a drawing cat who after that lived with my family for 3 years
