I'm a linguist who specializes in dead languages. I live in St.-Petersburg, Russia, and I love this city!

I simply adore dogs - I have two of them, both are rescued. And a cat, also rescued.
I've traveled a lot - mainly, in Europe, but also in the USA (that, however, was a long time ago, and I'd like to repeat that experience someday).
I'm pretty calm, but I love a good chat on almost any topic and I like meeting new people.

I like most musical genres: Tom Waits, Johnny Cash, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Oxxxymiron, Spitfire... you name it!
In movies, I'm quite conservative, I'm afraid. Jarmusch, Lynch, Kaurismaeki and all that were important in my formative years, and they still are a big part of my movie taste.
Books - oh, I'm afraid I've been reading only academic stuff lately. Although I've read a lot in my lifetime and will be happy to get good recommendations.
