I enjoy travel, camping by a lake, gardening, nightlife, Comedy Clubs & Dinner Theater, music, my dog, & celebrating special occasions. I am self-sufficient, independent, honest, I have a great sense of humor, & family & friends are very important to me and the most important: I love to ride my bike. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped into an ice-cold lake after a 100-degrees Finnish sauna.
I would never call it as something amazing, but some of my friends, who are not from north countries, are very impressed listening to this. Yes, Finns and Estonians do jump into an ice-cold lake after 100–degrees Finnish sauna. It is a big tradition and it feels so good afterwards! Your body has all the heat of the sauna, and when you jump into the lake, you feel yourself very refreshing. You spend in the ice-cold water only couple of seconds and then run back to the hot sauna. The best experience you can get from the North!
