Overview
About Me
Extremely calm, easy-going, curious and friendly Russian guy
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I dream of visiting all the places from my wishlist (it's kinda huge) and better understand the people and the world in general
I suppose that people, culture and lifestyle of places that you visit is more interesting and important thing than overlooked sights.
And almost every single experience I had with CS so far was awesome.
So, that's why
Interests
Well, majors would be:
Football (passionate player, big fan of Leeds United and my local team Sokol Saratov, in past even part-time blogging for our major sports site and creating football shows on our sports tv channel)
Plus snowboarding, cycling and any other outdoor activities
Intellectual and, well, semi-intellectual games (poker, pub quizes, etc.)
Economics, corporate finance, business, investments and other related stuff (really enjoy my job)
History and cultures (and remembering various useless but fun facts)
- photography
- coffee
- cycling
- snowboarding
- soccer
- business
- economics
- history
- journalism
- cultures
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: my playlist varies randomly from simple pop to some underground bizarre-language rap, but most of it consists of various indie stuff: e.g. Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, Yeasayer, The Kooks, Portugal. The man, and numerous similar bands and artists you most likely have never heard about :)
Movies: like many of them, but most of all Guy Ritchie, can cite every single phrase from Locks, stocks and 2 smoking barrels, Snatch, Rock-n-rolla
Books: starting from local classics (especially Chekhov, Bulgakov, Pasternak, Gogol, Ilf and Petrov, Dovlatov, Erofeev, Kharms). And finishing with Hemingway, Hunter Thompson, Kerouac, Borges, O.Henry, etc. Also adore Russian 20th century poetry
Teach, Learn, Share
Always happy to practice and improve my Spanish (so can teach some russian in exchange)
If not able to host, then could be able to guide through the city and give some advice
What I Can Share with Hosts
Can share with you good mood and relaxed attitude, some little gifts, readiness to talk on basically every subject
and teach you perfect skills of vodka drinking and swearing in Russian (just if you think you really need it, of course)
