Hello!! My name is Scott and I’m from Vancouver, Canada. I started Couchsurfing when my family joined the community when I was only 10 years old. Since then, I have hosted or been hosted by over 250 Couchsurfers from over 30 different countries. While spending time with these people I have gained so much knowledge, made lifelong friends, and learnt what Couchsurfing is truly about. As of February 2025 I am now setting off to circumnavigate the world for the second straight year! I’ll be travelling for 6 months and hoping to visit some less travelled places so I’d love to use couchsurfing to meet locals and get advice on how to enjoy your countries to the fullest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I made my Couchsurfing profile before traveling solo for the first time in 2023! Couchsuring gives me the opportunity to stay with locals, make new connections, and be able to escape the bubble staying in hostels puts you in and be able to truly experience what life is like in the cities I visit.
