ABOUT ME

I love lots of things. Abricots. Words, like clay, scarlet, ciel (sky in french), and my new favourite: ucello (bird, italian). Ice cream. I love going up way to early just to walk around and see the empty streets when nobody is yet awake. Old movies: the Hepburns, Cary Grant is a star - and Leslie Howard is fantastic. Love old, forgotten things, the kind of stuff that you find in the best flea markets - old photographs, clocks that don't work, old toys that somebody once loved dearly.

Economics might not sound like a lot of fun - but I have learned a lot of interesting things. CSR - Corporate Social Responsibility - is one of my main interests. Business ethics, if you so like. As I don't have a Bill Gats-banc account, I like the idea of using a company's money to do good in the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Velle est posse - can't really give a beautiful translation of this in english (volouir c'est povouir) but it might be something like "if you want (to do) something, it's possible" someone has a better suggestion? please:)

Most of the couchsurfing I've done so far in my life has been "unofficial" but I hope that will change soon:)

Interests

This is tricky... Speak with passion and I will be amazed, curious and fascinated by anything from metaphysics to italian art to astronomy to geology to... well, anything. I love learning new things, so tell me!

My "general" interests are art (renaissance and impressionist, mostly), literature, music, dance, food... and friends, friends of course.

Music, Movies, and Books

As good as it gets, Wonderboys, all those old black-and-white movies, pretty much everything.

When it comes to music, I'm a big fan of Peter Cincotti, Kate Melua and Vienna Teng. Others include Frank Sinatra, Belle & Sebastian, Madonna, Green Day, Robbie Williams. The classic ones, such as Mozart, Bach etc.

Books? Wow that's really hard.. The classics, of course. Some of my favourites are Pride & Prejudice, Momo, Lord of the rings. Truman Capote, F S Fitzgerald, Oscar Wilde. Poems by Pablo Nerudo, Emily Dickinson and William Blake. But a good detective story (Sherlock Holmes is my childhood hero) is lovely as well. Could continue forever - I love to discuss a good book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Alhambra in Spain was one of the most incredible places I have ever visited. Beauty! Otherwise, the northern swedish woods are truly amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play the piano farily well.. I can make you some swedish meals, of course. Might try to learn you foxtrot if you insist, though I'm not that good. Know some good ju-jutsu moves that can unarm an attacker - though I'm not supposed them to anybody, I guess I can teach some basic self-defense.
