I am a 54 year old "girl" (no not lady at all rather an odd fish) with two children of 18 and 21 (boy and girl) and a boyfriend.

I apologize for my rusty english. Due to illness and financial causes, I haven't been traveling for years.

In former times I offered my own coach. Unfortunately our new flat is very little, so I only can offer interesting city tours in Herrenberg with my boyfriend who lives here for his whole life.

Please, feel free to contact me when you visit my area when you have got detailed plans to learn to know Herrenberg and surrounding (Stuttgart for example). But only then! I have no time for bla-bla ("How are you"...) with people who confuse coachsurfing with a dating site.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since schooltime, I like to travel around. Often enough, I was very impressed by the hospitality abroad, especially on my backpacking trips. (I'm now to old for such a bullshit. ;-))

I like to know new people and cultures. For a short time, I offered my couches and beds. Unfortunately our new flat is not very suitable for guests.

Interests

My favourite hobby is ballroom dancing. As I have problems to find a dancing partner, I restarted Squaredance in 2017. I sing in a mixed chorus and do lots of handicraft work. And of course, I like to travel around very much.

I like Jane Austen (and the films) very much. Before having my children, I sew historical costumes and visited events on a historical basis.

My last big hobby is renovating an old camper. It's an old Dethleffs from 1976 and - as potterhead - I give it the design of a Hogwarts Railways wagon.

Unfortunately too many hobbies for too few time. ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

My children and me are big freaks of Harry Potter. Therefore our living-room is full of Hogwarts-stuff, wands, owls... (No, we don't conjure tricks or enchant our guests). I'm very proud to have managed to read the whole Harry Potter series in english.

I like comedy and action films on DVD - everything except scary and splatter movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been invited to take a look from the tower from the Munich Museum. This was very impressing.

Awesome was the visit of the Harry Potter Movie World with my daughter...

And the best I ever did, was to produce these great two funny children.
