I want to take it all in...
Let's see...I live in San Francisco and I grew up in the Bay Area. I have no car and rely on bicycle to get around, it's my preferred form of transportation.
I am a teacher so that takes up a large chunk of my time on the day to day. I am always interested in new and exciting things and ways to teach, especially when it's related to social justice and community building of any kind. I am also a permenant student so learning new things makes me very happy.
I like things like the library and farmer's markets. I like to swim in the outdoor pool that isn't too far from my house and sometimes you might catch me at a yoga class. I love to dance and have a useless talent for memorizing all of the lyrics to bad songs on the radio.
I like to travel and I've been lucky enough to visit quite a few places and meet many many amazing folks on my travels. I am interested in being a conscientious travler and staying aware of my impact on spaces and in communities. I love to be outdoors as much as possible. I love to meet new people and see new things.
In life I like a good balance.
There are so many stories in the world and I want to learn about as many of them as I can...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined Couch Surfer and I'm excited to learn about how it all works.
I have couch surfed here and there throughout my life usually in my own town when I am in between housing situations...or else while traveling around, I love meeting new people.
Oh. I am interested in so many things...seeing new places, hiking, biking, eating, baking, sunny days and sunny beaches, reading, writing, education, swimming, a little bit of yoga, building community, crafts of all kinds, and all other interesting or exciting adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books
The lists go on and on...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode my bike from San Francisco to Santa Cruz. Along the way I saw a whale, that was amazing!
