About Me

CURRENT MISSION

fix my couch

ABOUT ME

hi! Im 30 old, working as a travel agent in paris. I used to live in Peru and India, and I travel a lot; as for now I have no money, I'm thinking that hosting people might help me traveling without moving from my sofa.
If you come to visit me, you will taste belgian beers and french liquor, listen to old rock music or maybe reggae or classical music, depending on our mood. If I have some free time, we might spend some time in Montmartre, then have a drink speaking of how wonderful the world is.
and i don't know what else to talk about. so come to paris and discover the rest, and have a great time!

PHILOSOPHY

Camembert et saucisson.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i am an old useless couchsurfer. Sometimes i decide to get connected, and i host someone. And then i might disappear for 6 months.

Interests

travel through all the amazing places of this world.
music, music, music. pink floyd and sweet smoke are my gods.
reading, fantasy, philosophy, sciences magazine. my current readings: Jean-Michel Truong (Le successeur de Pierre), Aravind Adiga (Les ombres de Kittur), and sciences magazine in my toilet.
Nature, forest, mountain, little birds and care bears....
having beers. good fresh beers from belgium. haaaaaa!!!
hiking, or riding a moto.
drinking smoothies
sharing life experiences with any people. well, nice people.
Riding the city by night to discover the quiet night life and take pictures.
Playing ping pong (i like this sport because it is not very demanding), skiing and snowboarding.
I like maps (I can spend hours on google maps - this is kind of my geek side).
Playing piano and guitar, and now playing my brand new bamboo flute from varanasi!
Experimental dub cooking.
I like moaning against trivial things. I like making fun of people and even of myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Riding down the death road to Coroico, Bolivia + the south region of this country (Salar de Uyuni and Sur Lipez) these places look like a different planet.

- Teaching Khasi people from Meghalaya (India) how to cook jam with their delicious tropical fruits.

- Watching the sunrise from the top of Lengai volcano, Tanzania

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you:
-how to play table tennis, but i am not sure many people will be interested in this :)
- How to cook a delicious home-made burger (you will enjoy that if like me you are bored with McDo), or a fried egg cury.
- How to squint with only one eye (but you will probably think this is useless).
- I can teach you all the french dirty words

I want to learn:
- How to finally become a decent guitar player.
- How to cook any foreign recipe.
- How to juggle, or walk on my hands, or fly or anything fun...
- How to get drunk without having a hangover.
- Anything about geography, or sciences, or music.
- Any magic trick. I hate not being able to do even one of them.
