As a profession, I am a venture capitalist in Berlin but mostly live in the suburbs in the south of France. I often commute between Berlin, Munich, and Paris.

Besides work, I consider myself a 'slow traveller'. I don't care about the number of countries I travelled to, but rather focus on the experiences. I love spontaneous trips with 'Go with the flow mindset'. I usually prefer to travel alone and make new friends along the way. I met some of my best friends travelling solo.

I am a mountain person, so I love to spend time either hiking or skiing.

I am a foodie, and coffee makes me happy :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Update 2025: I just moved to Chartres, a small medieval town an hour away from Paris. I am happy to show you around if you visit.

Update 2023: It's been almost 5 years since my first couchsurfing experience as a student backpacking in Europe. I mostly use the app to hang out with the locals and experience the local lifestyle.

Currently, I am backpacking again in Europe to relive the same experience of my student life back in 2018. (Spoiler! It's not the same ;)

I moved out of my home at 18 and have been travelling since. I travelled to over 15+ countries and lived in India, China, Hong Kong, Germany, and France.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2016, I left my comfort zone and moved to China. I learnt Mandarin within 4 months.
No matter how many things I had accomplished during the past 5 years, moving out of my home and travelling is the most amazing thing I have done. It shaped me into who I am today ;)
