I never traveled until I went on an immersion volunteer trip to Paraguay. I loved every second of my time there and became addicted to seeing the world and learning about different cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed through the site, but I've spent quite a few nights on "strangers" furniture! My experiences have always been positive except once when my ride blew me off and I had to walk five miles in the snow back to my car!
