ABOUT ME

My name is Silvan, I am 26 years old and I just moved to Cairo after finishing my masters in Social Development in the UK.

People often describe me as a humorous, positive, open-minded, reliable and reflective person, but I guess these are characteristics that most couchsurfers stand for :) I love spending time in nature and am passionate about many outside activities such as biking, diving, hiking, skiing or playing football and am very curious to try out new sports. Also I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen with new foods. Music is another passion of mine, mostly passively so far, but I just started to teach myself how to play the guitar and could definitely need some help :) I recently also got into meditation and yoga and am quite enthousiastic about it!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was fortunate to have many great experiences and to see amazing places in the last few years. One that stands out is my time in India over summer 2014. I worked for an Indian NGO and lived in a remote village in the Himalayan mountains for two months. An incredible experience in the middle of the beautiful mountain ranges.
