About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience the world and the deep connection between people and places.

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going guy, eager to meet new people and experience new things as I travel across the United States. My friends would call me adventurous, active, and always looking for something good to eat. =)

If you are interested in following my progress during the journey, my travel blog can be accessed my clicking the 'My Website' link on the left side of this page.

PHILOSOPHY

Wander across the land, love selflessly, and carry a big stick. (History joke woot woot!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am going to be traveling across the United States, and I hope to make connections during this trip through Couchsurfing.com that will last my whole life, and will inspire me to host others in my own home when my journey is over!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with many kind and amazing people across New England on my month-long 300 mile walk. Couchsurfing is amazing!

Interests

I like to stay active playing basketball and hiking, and I really enjoy just being outdoors. I also love driving (road trips!) and witnessing different landscapes and places. I love watching basketball (and most other sports) and listening to all kinds of music (Rap and Orchestral Indie like Sufjan Stevens are my favorites). Beer, whiskey, or a good sandwich are some of my favorite things in life. I also enjoy Monster energy drinks, Six Feet Under, and stories of adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This past October I went on a 17 mile, 3 day hike through the Dix range in the Adirondack Mountains with my buddy Greg. On the second night, we set up our tent right on the smooth rocky slide of Dix Mountain and slept through a night of snow. In the morning we stepped out of the tent to witness an incredible sunrise, lighting up Giant Mountain and the surrounding clouds, with crystal white snow shimmering upon the trees all around us. Amazing!
