ABOUT ME

I'm a university student who is studying Public Health in Vancouver. This year, i took it off to study and travel Beijing. The last few years I was mostly focused on school. But during this year, I intend to travel a lot and discover more about the world and myself.

I really like to go out and have fun and party, but I also enjoy just chilling at home, reading a book and cracking opening a beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed once so far in Yunnan province, when I was traveling in China. It was a really cool experience to be able to not only see the city, but to also meet a person who had lived their all his life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love Jazz: Monk, Coltrane, Mingus etc.

I've watched a lot of movies, so I don't really have any favorites, but right now I really like anything with Michael Fassbender it

One of my favourite things to do is to crack open a good book, i especially like reading history, or American and Russian authors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two days hiking tiger leaping gorge. It was a really amazing mountain hike in China with some of the mostmagnificient views I've ever seen, and that's coming from a guy who lives in Canada. The mountains were ranges were so beautiful and jaw-droppinly massive, staring at the them made you dizzy.

I went to Bob Marly's birthplace in Jamaica. I'd tell you how it was, but my memory is a bit hazy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm Chinese-Canadian, so I can speak both Mandarin and English fluently. I am a sometimes English tutor, so feel free to practice either languages with me!

I can't cook too many dishes, but I can cook some Chinese food, and also a mean steak :)
