I’m an American girl who has lived and studied in Budapest (Hungary) and Curitiba (Brazil)! I love meeting people from all over the world and getting to see how crazy and diverse our world is. When I was 16 I had only visited 3 countries... I then decided that I hated high school and managed to graduate early and headed off to live in Brazil for a year! In that year I had so many great experiences and travelled all around the country and everyone knew that it was only a matter of time before I left the USA again and started to travel more. I’ve now been to over 20 countries and most of those have been on solo trips 😄 I’m always looking for new experiences in new places and I can’t wait to see where I end up next! I’m unfortunately living in a dormitory right now and am not able to host, but as soon as my living situation permits, I hope to be able to start hosting!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to get to meet and know new people in new places! I love making friends and having interesting conversations and I’ve found that couchsurfing is a great way to do that. I’d love to have a host who can show me at least a bit of the city but I’m also used to being solo and exploring places alone if that’s not possible!

Cliff diving, zip lining in a rain forest, swimming in the Amazon river- I’m a definite adrenaline junkie and have had many chances to do some crazy things!

If you want, I can help you with your English! Since I don’t generally speak the languages of the places that I go we’ll probably have to speak English but I can also help you by correcting your mistakes when we’re speaking (if you would like!)
