Hey there! My name is Sydney, I'm confident, kind, outgoing and looking to meet some new people and have some new experiences!

I love to hike and camp, back home its all I do in the summers. I also enjoy sports including (but not limited to)soccer, kickboxing cross-country running ect. I tend to be pretty active. I also love to learn more about history and explore different arts, music, dance and pretty much anything else.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Australia is a beautiful country, one that I'm looking forward to exploring!

I want to see every part and I don't want to be limited to just one city or town, so that's why I'm on Couchsurfing, it allows me to be mobile and to enjoy what life has to offer here in Australia. I want to meet cool people as well and this seemed like an excellent way to get started!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is very sporadic, I like a broad range of music from soft country to Indie to pop, rock, metal and classics. One of my favourite artists at the moment is Svrcina (check her out!) but otherwise narrowing down favourite songs is quite difficult for me.

My favourite movies are hands down Avengers, Spiderman: Homecoming, Justice League and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (one of these things is not like the others haha). The marvel universe and DC are my childhood, I can never get enough!

As for books I loved the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Palioni and The Giver by Lois Lowry. If I listed all my favourites this would be far too long so I'm going to leave that here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've ran the Spartan Beast in BC, Canada!

Its a 25km run/race up the side of a mountain complete with mud pits, obstacles and rocky terrain. Its and incredible experience one that I look forward to being able to do again!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a neat and respectable person to live with. I like my home organized and clean so I respect that everyone else is the same way, I won't be leaving any messes around your home and I'll do my best to respect your routine.
