About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to learn, grow, and explore my new city of San Francisco!

ABOUT ME

I'm laid back, up for anything, and I love to have fun. I am in the process of moving from Minneapolis to San Francisco, and am looking for a place to stay while I get my bearings in the city and find my own place to stay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

just surfing for now--I don't have a place to host, unfortunately!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have gone to two CS events and met some really great people! I have surfed a few times and met with someone once for a home-cooked meal. CS is a really great way to meet people who live in the city, share experiences locally and from abroad, and get recommendations for things to do.

Interests

I graduated from college about a year ago, and since have been traveling and working. I lived in Michigan for almost a year, and am now moving from Minneapolis (where my folks live) to San Francisco. I'm a nerd at heart--I studied math and computer science in college, and am getting a job as a Data Scientist. I love to hang out at a bar or on a front porch and share some good beer with friends, or watch some netflix and enjoy a good night in. I'm not a partier, but I like to relax and have fun with new and old friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: The Fall, American Psycho, Harold and Maude, anything by Wes Anderson or the Coen Brothers. I love the Christian Bale Batman trilogy and I'm SO excited for this new series of DC universe movies!

books: Ender's Game (and the rest of the series), Dune, most sci-fi actually.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied abroad in Budapest, and traveled all around--including (but not limited to) Sweden, Morocco, Croatia, Germany, and the UK.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Ecuador, Morocco, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Hungary, United Kingdom, United States
