Umair here, into ICT consulting by profession, travel and arts enthusiast by heart.
Lately I have been living in Spain Barcelona for work and before studies. Now living in between Canada and Dubai. Did an Erasmus in Sweden and Italy before and travelled around a bit with friends. This is my first experience with Couchsurfing planning to be a guest (a nice one of course :))

My favorite travel destination, well actually where I lived for a semester was lake Como in Italy near Milan, a truly picturesque place, with relaxing Italian atmosphere and great people around. It was 5 mins that one can enter Switzerland by train and can explore the lakes extending to alps. For high city life Milan was the place for weekends. So overall a wonderful place with beauty spread all around.

5 Things I cant live without, I wont say I really avoid getting addict of anything, like to adopt with time and environment. But lets not get philosophical so iPhone I guess if its about things, relaxing pyjamas for night, friendly people around, good breakfast a must and an occasional travel with a nice company that can uplift my mood :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard its the best way to get in touch with locals and have a great time while staying in a new city. I have met many couch surfers back in Barcelona when my flat mates were hosting. Interesting people, great time out and lot to learn.

Interests

I like music, cine out , trying different food, party out with friends, or just relaxing a day on beach. Looking forward to make my coming trips memorable one with Couchsurfing and I love to get touch with locals and adventurous souls around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did a tracking trip for 2 days on swiss alps, going from Interlaken all the way to Jaunfraugh and walking down the small town, it was both breathtaking and fun with a friend
