About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Navigating the bike-friendly streets of Copenhagen and subsequently explore Europe in my worn out Converse sneakers
ABOUT ME
At the moment, I'm an exchange student from UNC-Chapel Hill attending Copenhagen University for a semester. I am a very sweet person with an interest in architecture and good food. Sadly, while I have a pretty awesome palate, my culinary skills are quite lacking. I make a mean piece of toast with nutella though!
I am also a very enthusiastic and down to earth girl, with a love of culture and the people who influence the makings of that culture. I enjoy learning, not from a book, but through conversations, DIALOGUE - an exchange of information between two or more people; to me, that is the best way to understand the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Eat good food, meet nice people, and learning a little more about myself and the vast world around me.
Like Forrest Gump said: Life is like a box of chocolate, you'll never know what you're gonna get!
I hope that despite the surprises that life throws at me, that it'll still be sweet, like from aforementioned box of chocolates.

Exploring different cities, discovering new places, and engaging an open dialogue of discussion between different people. I LOVE talking, whether it be about the weather or American socioeconomic policies. I'm always trying to learn more - it's a human drive to soak things up like a sponge!

Music, Movies, and Books
Films - Anything with a happy ending. Artsy and dark humor films go over my head.
Television: Friends, CSI, NCIS, Elementary, Big Bang Theory - I miss American television, especially trashy reality tv shows. I haven't watched must at all since being here in Europe! haha
Music - Give me a fast beat! Right now, I'm listening to a lot of Imagine Dragons and Skrillex, but Coldplay and OneRepublic are my constant music staples.
Books - I prefer nonfiction. Although Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings holds a special place in my heart.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A blue sky in Denmark; seriously, those things are quickly becoming rare come the cold months!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach most people an absurd amount of American English slang, culture, and random trivia. And microwaved scrambled eggs.
Seriously though, have a discussion with me: politics, economics, culture, language - I will happily give you an American perspective (distinctly southern American) and I would LOVE to hear about other people's opinion; I am very open-minded and I want to hear my culture critiqued because Americans rarely understand the extent of the opinion from other countries.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom, Viet Nam
