Overview
About Me
I am originally from Lyon, France (a city worth visiting in my opinion!). As it happens I spent part of my studies in other countries and found out I quite enjoy living abroad... I am now living in London where I got my first job as an engineer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to go away for walks/hike during the weekends to breathe some fresh air. A friend introduced me to some of the many walking events organised on the Couchsurfing website, which I really like. It's a great way too meet many international persons who enjoy the same activity (hurting their legs/feet ^^). I've attended several of those events and I intend to go for many more!
I am also aware of the travelling/hosting dimension of Couchsurfing. I haven't tried yet but I will consider it next time I go abroad. Unfortunately, I cannot host other Couchsurfers at the moment.
Interests
I'm a rather sporty person: I play tennis, I've started indoor climbing recently. And I'm always up for a walk. I don't usually watch sports on TV but please don't try to talk to me when I am in front of the French Open.
Besides, I have rather "normal" interests, like listening to music, reading... also going for a movie occasionally.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have notably spent a couple of hours of my life watching The Big Lebowski or Sharknado - and I was sober.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Can the above be considered amazing?
Teach, Learn, Share
I taught Maths and Science to undergraduates a couple of years ago. It turns out I am OK at explaining things (I actually like it). Not sure I have what it takes to be a teacher though.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am not a chef but I could cook you something not too bad; I mean something more than ketchup pasta. Do you like ratatouille?
