About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To follow my heart and live life to its fullest, whilst living sustainably as much as possible

ABOUT ME

**Currently in Victoria, BC**

Hailing from the big city of Toronto, I have recently found myself living the nomadic life, moving from town to town, exploring hidden gems in each neighbourhood, and learning about myself and the community around me.

I love traveling, meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and searching for new adventures.

I identify myself as an INFJ (from the Myers-Briggs Personality Profiles). While the personality profile is mostly accurate, my friends also describe me as friendly, outgoing, generous, quirky, funny and humble.

And one last thing: I love giving people surprises! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Live in the present, carrying your past on your back with one eye on the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During my studies, I participated on an exchange in Australia, where I was introduced to couchsurfing. This is where I fell in love with the CS community. Meeting new people, getting into crazy adventures and listening to people's stories were incredibly inspiring and unforgettable.

I will continue to use couch surfing in my future travels and my home is open to any couchsurfers. And of course, I would love to meet any couchsurfers, who are passing by my town!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My very first Couchsurfing experience was in Australia. Hesitant and uncertain of what to expect, I decided to give couchsurfing a whirl. I instantaneously was overwhelmed by the hospitality and generosity I received in Tasmania, especially when all my plans fell through the cracks. I am very grateful for all the people I met there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I don't watch many movies, but I love cozy movie nights with friends alongside snacks and tea!
Books: I like reading mystery, thriller and action/adventure books. But I love all books, sometime even school textbooks. :)
Music: I love most types of music-- especially swing/ big band, and indie folk/rock. I really enjoy listening to live, raw and acoustic music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most spectacular hikes I've done is in Tasmania. After climbing up the slippery slopes of Mt Amos, where we thought we were going to die, the top the mountain felt like heaven. It was tranquil and breathtaking; a 360 degree panoramic view of the picturesque wineglass bay!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I don't know what exactly I can teach, but once you start talking to me you might learn something new. :)
Learn: I am eager to learn more about different cultures and languages. I want to learn how to play the guitar, double bass and piano. I would like to know more about organic agriculture, green building designs, and interesting and creative ways to live sustainably. :)
Share: I love to share good conversations over delicious vegan meals and a warm cup of tea!
