About Me

CURRENT MISSION

LEARN SPANISH.. Aprender espanol... ahora estoy viviendo en D.F. para aprender Espanol y disfruta la cultura

ABOUT ME

I am a loopy, friendly, pretty dam open individual who loves meeting new people and sharing experiences. I am always open to new point of views, and love learning new things. I feel that i´ve been born into a world where i am very lucky, and well supported. I feel that the more i learn and experience, i can hopefully use in the future to help work towards helping others. I do loose track of that at times, but i think thats because im young and still figuring things out about myself! I hope that in these travels im doing at the moment i will find out some new things about myself as well as things about the world around me and different ways of life.. I also love doing physical things, making things, swimming, yelling out freely, learning new tricks, dancing silly, eating tasty fresh foods, team work, building things with others, talking and my mum and cat and dog! And my daggy as friends :)

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once, cherish what love you are given and share as much as possible with the people that matter. Be openminded, it won´t kill you, be open to new people, everyone feels the same when meeting new people/things. Remind the people you love that you love them. Smile at people passing as much as possible, a smile makes you feel so good. Sometimes you don´t realise how much a smile effects others and yourself. Don´t be ignorant, never stop learning!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm living with a host family in D.F. MExico at the moment and am really looking forward to returning the favour to others when i get home. Its such a good way to meet new people, learn new ideas, and share things that you love doing! I have heard from some people that couch surfing is turning into a corporation. I would really be interested in hearing peoples views on the matter as i´m new to surfing the pillow goodnes of peoples couches through this site. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed on these crazy boys couches once in brighton england, when my friends told me to join them, otherwise i haven´t yet properly joined in surfing couches. I also haven´t had people from this site surfing my couches. But i have had alot of aquiantances stay on my couch, and friends stay for a few months when needing a place to stay. Can´t wait to return the couchsurfing Karma! !!

Interests

Physical things, make you feel goooooood.
i like running, swimming adventureous activities.(When my backs not bad)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Alaska and went on a little boat cruise and saw hump back whales bubble netting right up against the boat and hearing them sing was one of the most magical moments ive experienced.
Going to Papua New Guinea, and staying in our friends village in Oro provence and living there lifestyle and being accepted as family, a place i will be forever going back to, for myself and to help the community.

When i was little hiking around ireland and the pete mountains, absolutely loved it!
Swimming and diving in Hawaii, Insanily fun and beautiful!

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
― Nelson Mandela

“Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow.” unknown

“Decades from now, people will look back and wonder how societies could have acquiesced in a sex slave trade in the twenty-first century that is... bigger than the transatlantic slave trade was in the nineteenth. They will be perplexed that we shrugged as a lack of investment in maternal health caused half a million women to perish in childbirth each year.”
― Sheryl WuDunn

“More girls were killed in the last 50 years, precisely because they were girls, than men killed in all the wars in the 20th century. More girls are killed in this routine gendercide in any one decade than people were slaughtered in all the genocides of the 20th century.

“In the nineteenth century, the central moral challenge was slavery. In the twentieth century, it was the battle against totalitarianism. We believe that in this century the paramount moral challenge will be the struggle for gender equality around the world.”
― Nicholas D. Kristof, Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide
