About Me
Hey, I'm Sylwester, a nerd and a geek at heart, working for some time now in the gaming industry (as a test engineer, but that still counts, right?). I may seem like a socially awkward, phlegmatic introvert at a first glance, however I can easily open up to people I get to know better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've heard of Couchsurfing quite a lot, but never actually bothered to create an account. Finally, I decided to break out of my shell and lurk a little, find new acquaintances, maybe even one day just depart on a crazy journey... Who knows what the future holds for me?
Interests
First and foremost - gaming. I'm a massive fan of the "Guild Wars" MMO franchise, old RPG titles like Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, etc.
Outside of gaming I'm an avid reader keenly interested in science, current innovations, astronomy and all other manner of geeky stuff like board games, trading card games, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - mostly different kinds of power metal music, with special mention going to the piece "Invidia" from Delain. Outside of metal music I love the soundtrack from a niche game series named "Touhou".
Movies: - Lord of the Rings trilogy. One might discuss if it did justice to the original, but nevertheless I found the movies to be a masterpiece. Also, horrors. Especially if watched with someone who won't try to jumpscare me xD.
Books: - Hard to specify, I devour books. Some older Koontz's literature, Stephen King's... Oddly enough I don't find the popular J.R.R. Martin's fantasy appealing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a week at the Grunwald battlefield re-enactment as a part of the Teutonic forces.
