About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Starting residency training, looking forward to a winter trip potentially international!

ABOUT ME

Update: Started the next chapter of my life in Denver, Colorado!

I'm currently in my last of medical school in this vibrant city of New Orleans. My schedule has become much more flexible so hoping to host more people during the rest of my tenure here while I still can. I love to explore the live music scene and not to mention the overabundance of great food and fresh seafood NOLA has to offer. Love to run, I think its a great way to explore a new city. Moved to the States when I was 10 years old, so I will forever carry a deep rooted bias for good Asian food.

PHILOSOPHY

Go with the flow.

Stay hungry. Stay foolish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host when I don't have upcoming obligations.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed twice in Asia, hosted once. Still trying to give back to this wonderful community.

Interests

I love to cook, and I would consider myself and adventurous diner. I'm just beginning to get into photography. Running, hiking. Trying to get into kayaking/mountain biking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Shucking open an oyster seconds after digging it up from an oyster bed, savoring the last drop of the briny ocean flavor.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really miss being surrounded by my native culture after traveling through SE Asia . Definitely a reverse culture shock experience since I'm whole heartedly American, but feeling so at home and in place, I really do wish to live in Asia some day.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good advice on where to eat and see. Will try to provide home cooked meals and hopefully be your tour guide in your stay of this unique city.

Countries I’ve Visited
