Overview
About Me
I am a first year Translation and Interpreting MA student in Budapest, and I write articles for a local English language newspaper.
Apart from my everyday job, I am involved in dog training, especially dog dancing, which is a quite peculiar sport. :) I organise competitions, compete, and also judge at competitions both in Hungary and abroad.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling, and especially if I have a chance to experience what living in a city I visit is like. I think the best way to find out about that is to meet locals, and get in the circulation of the city, not just to visit museums and sights, that I think does not reflect what a place itself it is like.
Interests
I am very much into training and working with animals, especially dogs.
I organise 2-3 international dogdance competitions a year, I love the excitement that comes with organising an event, when you have to be in 5-6 places all at once, and you cannot stop for a minute.
I also read a lot, mostly modern fiction, but I also love classics, especially Russian literature.
When I am not too busy with all the things I do, I do many DIY projects, mostly knotting friendship bracelets, sewing, crochet, or whatever sparks my interest.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read basically anthing I come across, but I am quite critical with things I don't like (meaning I easily put aside books that bore me). I love Ken Follett novels, Harry Potter, anything written by Audrey Niffenegger, and my all time favourite is One Day by David Nicholls.
I am not much of a movie fan, I am more into TV series. I love Scrubs, Friends, Grey's Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory, and many more. I cry on almost every film, whenever something sad or scary happens.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once went to Italy with a friend by a tiny car, and we took in total 5 dogs with us. (there was a big competition in Lignano Sabbiadoro)
We didn't book a hotel, so we slept in the car for 2 nights. This was possibly the most random thing I ever did. :D
