Hello, greetings from Taiwan.
My name is Szu-Tung Chen and I'm 22 years old.
I really enjoy playing tennis and volleyball (or probably all kinds of sports), reading and traveling.
I've been to several countries before, and I'm studying in Barcelona as an exchanged student for a year started this September. I hope that I could travel around Europe. And in the future, I will definitely travel to Central and Southern America, which is my dream:)))
I also enjoy social enterprises and non-profit organizations, and I would like to take it as my career in the coming years. Can't wait to meet you!!

Soy Szu-Tung Chen de Taiwán. Desde este septiembre estudio en Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona un año como estudiante de intercambio. Me gustaría viajar por España y por Europa, así que participé en Couchsurfing :) En el futuro, quiero viajar por el Centro y por el Sur de América, que es la razón por la que empecé a aprender español.
Me gustan jugar al voleibol, ver las series de televisión, aprender culturas diferentes y conocer a gente de países distintos. Además, me interesan mucho las ONGs y las empresas sociales, y ojalá que pueda trabajar en una en el futuro.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been traveling to different countries since I was a child, I was really graceful for having parents that are willing to spend money on those journeys. However, me parents preferred to travel with agency groups, but I realized that I couldn't remember the details of my trip afterwards because I didn't plan it myself. Therefore, I would like to travel the way I enjoy most, to meet the locals, to fully experience different culture and most importantly, to create new unforgettable memories :)
Many of my friends have tried Couchsurfing, and I think I should do it myself someday. And started this September, I'm an exchanged in Barcelona, so... why not start my own journey NOW?!

I've been Couchsurfing twice now in Spain, and both the experiences were awesome. I'm sure that I'll keep on Couchsurfing as a guest and will definitely be a host when I go back to Taiwan!!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music: I listen to all kinds of music actually, from Chinese pop music to foreign bands, and also Spanish songs. But recently I found out that I kinda enjoy romantic music more haha, and sometimes when I'm in a bad mood, I listen to light music :)
My favorite book: Harry Potter series.
My favorite movie: Ratatouille (from Pixar)
My favorite TV series: Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory, Friends, Grey's Anatomy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things... I don´t know, but I´m pretty sure that I´ve done many stupid things haha.
I think the most unforgettable one was that I lost my flight in Dubai while watching TV series Gran Hotel with my earphones on. I was sitting beside the boarding gate!!! Well, and I waited 24 hours to go back home o.O

Cosas fantásticas.... no lo sé...pero estoy segura de que he hecho muchas cosas tontas jajaja.
Lo más inolvidable era perder el avión en Dubai porque estaba viendo la serie de tele Gran Hotel con mi móvil. Estaba sentando al lado de la puerta de embarque!!!! Bueno, esperé 24 horas más para volver a mi casa :((

What I Can Share with Hosts

I´m not a professional cook, but I can try to cook you some Taiwanese cuisine.
I enjoy handwriting postcards, so I always hand write cards for people. I´ve brought postcards from Taiwan, and I will write you some Chinese sentences (with English or Spanish translation, of course)
We can also share some stories and experiences together, if you want!

No se me da muy bien cocinar, pero intentaré cocinar alguna comida taiwanesa para tí.
Me gusta escribir, así que siempre escribo cartas o postales para mis amigos. He traido muchos postales de Taiwán, y voy a escribirte un postal en chino (con traducción de español o inglés, claro)
