HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I walk and meet, sleep and eat, I laugh and run around in pursuit of THE (GRAND) happiness. I also do lots of crazy, sometimes genuinely stupid stuff that I rarely regret.
I drink good beer. Poor beer too. I don't drink vodka.
I listen to jazz, but dance to techno.
I'm a huge fan of Buddhism, however can't get rid of the habbit of eating meat. Probably karma will kick my ass and I will reincarnate as a chicken.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm trying to make my life all about people and learning. Usually learning people or from people ;)

兴趣

I love travelling, meeting new people (as everyone at CS does, right?), hiking, trekking, running, taking pictures and film and writing my own lame poetry, learning new things (in favour of languages and cooking!) riding bicycle. I can't live without sounds and motion pictures. I don't trust people who don't feel any art nor care for aesthetics. You really don't need to be a hipster for me to like you!
I listen to all different kinds of tunes. Folk, rock, funk, jazz and everything that keeps my brain and body busy :). I play a bit of music myself. I especially love drums (percussion instruments in general) and bass guitar. My dream is to learn trumpet!
Films: There're so many I like (especially contemporary non-mainstream American cinema, Scandinavian and South Korean - Chan Park-Wook, Ki Duk Kim are my favs).

Music: The Frames, Avishai Cohen, Infected Mushroom, Bloc Party, Christian Scott, EST, Incubus, John Butler Trio, Madeski,Martin&Wood, NIN, The Dø, Youngblood Brass Band, HAUSCHKA, Andy McKee, Gamelan music, traditional folk music, Marcus Miller, Wynton Marsalis, EST, The Mars Volta, Kaki King, David Sylvian, Ben Howard and others. Kill me but I don't like Chopin very much. Recently I have devoted my life to happiness and funk or just funking up my existence.
Books? Lots, but one is my special treat. Like a guide for lost minds it leads me through these crazy times - Rayuela by Julio Cortazar (Hopscotch?)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Recently I've discovered climbing volcanoes as particularly awesome. As well as dancing with poisonous vipers, chasing hairy spiders, kissing dolphins and stealing bananas from wicked monkeys.
To all my Muslim friends - forgive me for singing X-mas carrols during Ramadhan. :) Love you all people :D
I enjoyed mushroom tripping on Bali. Befriended stray dogs in Ankara, rode a bike across dark nights of Omani urban desert.

What can I teach? I can share time with you, we can jam a bit, watch movies. We can discuss life and play scrabble. Drink cold beer or coffee :) We have to talk.
I want to learn everything and pass it further. Mind is truly an impressive vessel.
