Update: I’ve been off the Couchsurfing app for about two years but finally am able to start hosting again! It’s been about 4 years since my big trip that changed my life forever but everything below still applies! Can’t wait to start spreading the love again!

Hey Guys!!! I spent about a year and a half in 6 different countries that changed my life forever!! I experienced so much human kindness it was overwhelming. I stayed on people's couches, slept in backyards, and was fed by strangers... I'm still trying to figure out a way to pay it all back.

I learned so much more than I could have ever wished for from simple conversations with people at bus stops, strangers waiting in line with me, and fellow travellers. I was able to experience a whole new level of vulnerability that pushed me far outside my comfort zone which ultimately made me a more empathetic and understanding human being!

I'm sadly no longer backpacking but I would love to share memories, stories, and experiences with people who are! Let me live vicariously through you! Haha

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, couchsurfing is a way to meet genuine people and experience the real side of places I visit. It's a community of hippies, hole-in-the-wall finders, go-with-the-flow strangers, and risk takers. I love being a part of it!

I'm a lover of all things outdoors and am down to try anything once! My interests range from learning how to do a proper handstand to finding epic peaks to climb to sitting down to read a good book!
