About Me

I AM IN MALLORCA FOR THE SUMMER BUT WIL BE BACK IN SEPTEMBER, IF YOU NEED A COUCH THEN LET ME KNOW!! :)

CURRENT MISSION: www.volunteersbase.com

ABOUT ME

I have landed in Lahti after a 7 years trip looking for something. still totally lost but very happy about where that long search took me!

FEEL FREE to drop me a line anytime, even if it is just to say HEllo :)

I am totally fascinated with bicycles!
I'm a complete cinema addict, docs docs docs, films films, let's watch something!
I appreciate details and people who pay attention to them, it can definitely make u day!
Traveling has changed my entire life, the way I think and see the world.
Eating/cooking, biggest pleasures in life!
Wikipedia freak...
Portuguese and French are my favorite languages although I don't speak any of them :P
I like the Italian word "tutti" (means "everybody" but in Finnish means "dummy"), every time I hear it I think they are talking about some funny dude.
I like off-topic/awkward comments and when someone gets lost in a conversation.
I love dark humor and politically incorrect jokes.

I can be serious too! and when that happens I am interested in alternative ways of living/consuming, eco-farming, dumpster diving, the transition movement, De-growth, urban agriculture, renewable energy, consciousness (and speculations about it), ecology, environmentalism, magic, astrology, serendipity, hard translations.

PHILOSOPHY

Some quotes I like and try to have always present:

"Life isn't about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself" -Saw it in a shop in Helsinki Finland

One friend wrote me once: "Hope everything is going to come out just the way you wouldn't expect it, and that day will enrich you even more with their ever changing prospective" I also hope that :)

"We shall not cease from exploration. And the end of all our exploring. Will be to arrive where we started. And know the place for the first time" -T.S. Eliot

"If we took the time to get to know each other, we would find out that we are more similar than we would like to admit"

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I'm a character in a Romanian Book :)

I was wrestling with my 250kg Dutch host in Krakow, Poland... intense experience!

I went to the roof of Europe (71°1′8″ N) twice

I have taken a little look at the underwater world in the Pacific and it was amazing!

I have cooked for Wizards, Hobbits, Elfs and Orcs in New Zealand.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would really like to learn more about Photography, French language and how to play any musical instrument..
I am a data base of useless and weird data, always ready to share it if u dare/are interested.
Maybe I could teach Spanish language (???) maybe I should improve my Spanish? O.o...
