About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find some way to embrace aging. To find a man/partner to share this path with. To make lots of money so I can do all the things I want to do to help others.

ABOUT ME

California native, transplanted to FL in 1979. Lived and worked in a spiritual community for 30 yrs. Open to all views of life. Love sports (watch and play), movies, adventure and well as simplicity.

PHILOSOPHY

Growing up in spiritual community put me on a path of self awareness. I strive to live life to the fullest, not fear death, to serve others and give of myself fully. My goals are always to remember to be non-judgmental and detached--to love all without conditions. Most importantly to "Feed Everyone"--spiritually and physically.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Loved the concept. Will help me broaden myself in both ways--getting out into the world and letting people in. Really looking forward to it. I'm a great event planner and party maker so I'm sure I'll be a good host as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I grew up on an ashram which is community living, it's seems very natural to easily join other families and friends anywhere. There has always been such an open door and inviting policy in all my connections with others that CS seems like a natural inclusion.

Interests

Environmentalist; organic green living; Taekwondo-Korean martial art 2nd Degree black belt; dancing, painting, foreign movies, sports events, live music & a range of reading interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

BOOKS:
"Since the Layoff" - dark, murderous humor. Laid-off worker gunman for hire. I liked the crazy in-your-face attitude of killing and how this guy justified it.

Called "Sick Puppy". A mindless read about dirty politics in Florida; crazy funny main character.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Instrumental in building a senior residential facility (raised $6.5 million).
Beat cancer, twice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a yoga or meditation class.
I would love to learn anything from anyone.
I will always do my best to share who I am as well as cooking a great meal for any type of diet.
