About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live vicariously through current world travelers. We just got hitched and are in Tampa for the moment, but are looking to go to Italy this September.
ABOUT ME
I sold my VW van and moved from California to Japan in 2003. Then I rid myself of 95% of my possessions, packed up a backpack and started my journey around the world. Six months later, I landed in San Francisco and worked for 4 years. Then I met the love of my life, got married, and moved to Tampa. We both love traveling and don't get to do it as much as we used to. We want to host others traveling and hope to get involved again soon with upcoming summer travels to Italy.
i have a passion for traveling, meeting people, eating great food, singing, being random and spontaneous, and meeting "gaijin" from all walks of life. people tell me i sing a lot. i don't deny it. my life is like one giant musical. Don't laugh. :)
PHILOSOPHY
"the road measures life in distance. the further you travel, the longer you live." --- excerpt from RED DUST.
be yourself, love life, and learn from others. the world has so much to offer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My husband and I have a couch and can host one or maybe two people?? I'd love to meet travelers who are interested in seeing a new part of the US. Just contact me and I'll see if I'm around to help you out.
** We will be unavailable to host from Sept 20th - October 15th. Sorry **
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i've surfed, i've hosted. i have nothing but the best to say. CS has taken me to the most amazing places. i hope never to stop traveling and meeting other couchsurfers. i think one of my most memorable times CSing was in okinawa when my fellow CSer encouraged me to jump from a 40 foot waterfall. it was one of the most exhilerating experiences to date. simply awesome.
