About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel as much as possible, meet new people, make friends, and spend as much time outdoors: climbing, camping, backpacking, mountain biking, etc

ABOUT ME

Presently I am a graduate student at UIUC just south of Chicago, and dedicate a large part of my time to work/studies.

However, I do make the time to get outside to do any number of activities. Being outdoors is very relaxing for me and I enjoy taking the time to rock climb, backpack, camp, trail run, or mountain bike when I am not trapped in the lab.

PHILOSOPHY

It's only life, don't take it too serious...have fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a few friends, including some from Germany. I hope to continue this trend and meet new people and make friends along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have taken advantage of impromptu couch surfing opportunities, and they have always worked out!

Interests

Anything outdoors and sports. I enjoy backpacking, hiking, camping, rock climbing, trail running, mountain biking, cycling and anything of the sort. I am up for anything new and exciting.

At the end of the day I enjoy having a beer and hanging out with friends talking about whatever comes to mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything Guy Ritchie and Quentin Tarantino.

My music interest are all over the music spectrum. From classical Spanish guitar styled Gipsy Kings, to electronic music, to rock and alternative, I thoroughly enjoy all types of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am not sure if I have done anything that I consider 'amazing' or would use the word to describe it. Feel free to ask though!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a pescetarian, and have been for the last 12 years. I can make my way around a kitchen to cook meals that can accommodate vegetarians/pescetarians.

Eating healthy is something I value and always find a way to continue to eat healthy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am currently not hosting until I am back in California in the fall of 2016.

Countries I’ve Visited

Finland, Germany, Latvia, Mexico, Sweden, Switzerland
