Hello everyone, well this page has not been updated since about 2009 when I first started couchsurfing and since then my beautiful now wife of 5 years has joined the amazing world of couchsurfing too. I am Australian and Becky is Canadian so I am looking forward to having her learn and see first hand the beauty of my great country and have the privilege of sharing this incredible world and all the people that make it incredible. I have had the privilege of spending 3 years in Canada which I call my second home. Now its time to show off the greatest country in the world lol... Maybe I am a little bias... But we would love to meet you either together or when we are separated. Look forward to visiting you all here in Australia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are wanting to create a great network of friends around the world in order to enable us to see the world from a different perspective and share our perspective with the world. This program is such a fantastic way to learn of the world in a much easier manner and to see it from a locals points of view.We don't yet have a couch because we don't quiet have a home lol... But one day when we have a house we would love to welcome people there. If not a couch, then it might just be a cupboard or a shelf... LOL...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (Tim) have been couchsurfing now for about 3 years I began in Scandinavia and have now couchsurfed all around northern europe, western europe, poland and portugal, morocco and Canada. I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of fantastic people and experience some very unique opportunities. I even began a couchsurfing event group in Vancouver to help other CS to get to know people in a relaxed and fun environement with cheap drinks lol.. I beleive the people you meet when you travel make your experiences. The people are the culture and the country and therefore I enjoy just meeting people of all backgrounds and life experiences from all over the world and learning about them and hopefully teaching them a little about myself too... Now I am two and with the introduction of my beautiful fiance Becky, we together and at times apart are eager to continue visiting and hopefully one day hosting amazing people and continue this amazing system throughout our lives. It is such a great way to help all countries in the world realize that we can all get along!!

Interests

travelling, nature, people, history, cultures. Anything really... i am up for a challenge anytime anywhere... Traveling the world has enabled me to see things that most people may never get the opportunity. My interests lye with the people I meet and the stories I gain from those experiences. I love to just meet up with people for dinner, coffee or a drinking session and have fun being around other people of other cultures. It makes for a fantastic may to travel the world.
