History:
- Studied art in college
- Taught English in China for two years
- Worked at an ad agency for 7 years
- Moved out West to work at hotels in Yellowstone and Park City
- Lived in Chicago for 2 years doing a boring office job and fighting traffic
- Currently back in my hometown, honestly being very lazy for a couple months before I start my job search

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's been years since I've done it, but I would like to try it again. A lot of people I travel with are uncomfortable couchsurfing, but I found it's the best way to meet new friends and have authentic experiences. Plus, the money saved goes to funding more travel!

Interests

Studying languages, reading classic novels, playing fiddle, attending cultural/music/art events, hiking and kayaking, volunteering for organizations I believe in.

Hiking the Great Wall of China was pretty incredible (Simatai to Jinshanling portion).
